This year, Mother's Day was such fun as I created 3 honor boards for 3 special people, and I don't have a picture of any of them!
I intended on choosing easy for my Random Act of Kindness Challenge this time by posting how I honored my sons' birthdays this month. But inspiration took over as I created my first honor board for an amazing mother and friend.
She holds a special place in my heart because she is a single mom like my own angel mother. I love her for her devotion to her children, her hard work ethic, and her determination to remain steadfast through it all.
Creating this board was so rewarding; I went on to create one for Makayla's Grammy. I love her for her compassion and love toward me and my family. You can read more about her goodness here.
And last, but not least I made one for my MIL, who is very loving and accepting. She's also thoughtful, generous, and gracious. There isn't a party she can't throw or a problem she can't handle. And also, she is pretty and her cooking is good.
What did you create?
Yeah! First to post! I created a board as part of a "thank you" to our own dear Random Acts of Kindness hostess. Of anyone I know, she deserves honor. I don't claim to know about all the trials & tribulations that have passed her in life, but as I am given small glimpses into her past and present, I knew it had to be her that I honored. ReplyDeleteI've had fun helping fold someone else's laundry, babysitting on the spur of the moment, painting some cup towels to give away, and a lot of little things.
